Victoria's new superdepartment to make up for lost years

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has called the Service Victoria app a “launching pad to do so much more” and said that the government would be migrating more day-to-day contact with the government to the platform over time.

He made the comments amid major changes that have seen Victoria emulate both NSW with its Department of Customer Service and the Federal Government’s Services Australia with the pre-Christmas announcement that the Andrews government would establish the Department of Government Services (DGS).
