The evolution of the new Cyber and Critical Technology Intelligence Centre

Australian companies developing technologies that may ‘fall into enemy hands’ are now under the scrutiny of the new multi-agency Cyber and Critical Technology Intelligence Centre (CCTIC), which is part of the Office of National Intelligence (ONI).

The Prime Minister announced the establishment of CCTIC in a speech on 29 March 2022, to monitor military and commercial technologies that are at risk of industrial espionage or intellectual property theft.
