• The NSW Greens have made a submission outlining the inadequacies of the state’s iVote system and calling for it to be replaced. The submission questions the system’s integrity, citing technical failures during council elections in December 2021.  
• The South Australian (SA) Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment has released the I WORK FOR SA Your Voice Survey Sector Action Plan for 2022, which outlines the state’s plan to improve the working lives of SA public sector employees. The action plan was developed using feedback from the last year’s annual public service satisfaction survey. 
• NSW’s Department of Customer Service is ‘breaking the digital bias’, with 41% of its digital roles and 40% of the 77 Senior Executive roles at the agency filled by women. Since the introduction of the Digital Restart Fund in 2019, 40% of applicants for investments in Government innovation projects have also been women.  
• South Australia’s Department of Human Services has launched the Adults Supporting Kids (ASK) portal, designed to offer parents and professionals who work with children information, free local support services and other resources on keeping children safe.  
• If elected, Labor has vowed to improve work conditions for the Australian Public Service (APS) by removing staffing and employment condition caps and reducing spending on consultants and labour hire companies, including those working in digital and ICT.  
• The Australian Federal Police has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United States Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) to develop collaboration on training and innovation between the two nations. FLETC is the largest provider of law enforcement training in the US.
