Laura Christie PSM
Government Chief Digital and Information Officer / Deputy Secretary, Digital.NSW
Laura is an experienced public sector leader having spent 15 years in roles in the NSW Government, Commonwealth Government and the not-for-profit sector. Her expertise and achievements were acknowledged in 2018 as the recipient of a Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to policy development and reform initiatives.
Prior to leading Digital.NSW, Laura led Service Delivery for Service NSW, where she was responsible for the Service NSW shopfronts and Contact Centre (13 77 88), leading over 3500 staff. She joined Service NSW as Executive Director Partnerships where she was instrumental in providing Service NSW with dedicated cluster and agency partnership support. Before Service NSW, Laura was the founding Executive Director for Office of the Secretary at the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation and held various roles at the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Commonwealth Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Karen Ko
Acting Chief Digital Officer, Revenue NSW
Karen Ko joined Revenue NSW in 2022 as Director Digital Services Fines and Debt and has been acting Chief Digital Officer since February 2024.
Karen has over twenty years’ experience delivering strategic programs, implementing technology and digital product transformation initiatives across both private and public sector. Karen is passionate about building a customer centric culture, maximising the agility of teams, and taking a product lens and mindset. She thrives on motivating teams to achieve outcomes and developing team capabilities to their full potential.
Suzy Mann
Chief Technology Officer & Executive Director, Technology and Communication Services Command, NSW Police Force
Suzy Mann serves as the Chief Technology Officer at NSW Police, where she enables NSWPF technology strategy with actionable plans that align with the overarching strategic goals and the Police Commissioner's priorities. Her responsibilities encompass the comprehensive management of planning, development, operation, maintenance, and the execution of strategic technological projects aimed at bolstering the operational capacity and efficiency of NSWPF.
Prior to her tenure at NSW Police Force, Suzy's career spanned the Financial Services Industry and IT Services industry, including pivotal regional and international positions at Hewlett Packard Managed Services. In her role as General Manager for Service Delivery at the Bank of Queensland in 2021, she spearheaded a Service Delivery enhancement program, significantly improving the experience for bankers and customers alike. Her tenure at Westpac was marked by her leadership in the service transition to a novel security-as-a-service model in 2011, followed by the successful deployment of a 30,000-seat virtual desktop service in 2013. Suzy also directed Westpac's extensive Workplace Services division, leading a Digital Workplace overhaul in 2016, and subsequently took on the role of technology leader within the Consumer Bank Retail executive leadership team commencing in 2017.
Holding Master’s Degrees in Technology Management and Business Administration, Suzy is committed to contributing to value-driven organisations that prioritise the development of their people and the cultivation of skills that deliver benefits to employees, customers, and the broader community.
Mike Dudarenok
Chief Information & Digital Officer, NSW Education Standards Authority
Mike has significant experience in the private and public sectors in customer and user experience, digital product management, and legacy technology transformation.
Currently, Mike holds a senior executive technology role with the NSW Education Standards Authority, overseeing all the technology underpinning the annual delivery of High School Certificate examinations for over 70,000 students, accreditation of 170,000 teachers and 3,500 schools and development of the NSW Curriculum.
Most recently, Mike held senior executive digital roles at Revenue NSW, where he led transformative technology programs and initiatives. For instance, he spearheaded migration to the public cloud, developed a 4-year technology transformation roadmap, and oversaw the development and delivery of cloud-native technology tools that underpinned the prominent NSW Government COVID stimulus programs JobSaver, Small Business Grants, and BizSaver.
Before joining the public service, Mike Dudarenok held several key technology roles for the Flight Centre Travel Group for over 15 years, including divisional Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer. He consolidated and led Flight Centre's internal and external technology portfolio of over 100 products and launched multiple new products to the market. In his last role at Flight Centre, he was the Chief Customer Officer, Corporate ANZ, responsible for the customer experience of over 10,000 customers and 1.5 million users.
Mike holds a BCom in Accounting and Tax, GradDipCom and BCom (Hons) in Operations Management and Supply Chain and a Master's in Management Accounting. He is a Certified Chartered Practising Accountant (CPA Australia) and Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA, UK) and a member of both institutes. He is an alumnus of Mark Ritson's Mini-MBA in Marketing and Seth Godin's altMBA.
Mark Lenzner
Executive Director, ICT / Digital Sourcing - Digital NSW Division, Department of Customer Service
Mark Lenzner is the Executive Director, ICT / Digital Sourcing within the Digital NSW Division of the Department of Customer. In this role Mark is responsible for the design, implementation and management of the NSW Government ICT and Digital Sourcing policies and frameworks, establishment and governance of Whole of Government arrangements, panels and marketplaces managing strategic partnerships and the transformation of our digital procurement systems. Mark is currently focused on making it easier to do business with the NSW Government, diversifying the partnership ecosystem and spend, driving a more strategic, diverse and innovate engagement with industry and contributing to the growth of the domestic technology sector.
Mark joined the NSW Government in January 2019. Prior to joining the NSW Government Mark spent 25 years in the private sector in major Australian organisations in the financial services, air transport services, telecommunications and event management industries and a global management consultant. For the majority of this time Mark held roles focused on ICT and Digital sourcing and strategic supplier relationship management.
Judy Hurditch
Principal Analyst, Intermedium
Judy was a Deputy Commissioner of Taxation when she left the Australian Public Service and was responsible for a range of major ICT-dependent program reforms, including the implementation of the Tax File Number System.
She has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and founded Intermedium in 2004, as a specialist researcher of Australian public sector use of digital and ICT.
As an independent industry analyst, she has an extensive understanding of key technology and digitisation issues facing senior government decision-makers.
